Adjustable Thermostatic Balancing Valve with Anti-Legionella Disinfection and Threaded Connections
The Cim 778 thermostatic balancing valve is a device used in domestic hot water recirculation systems to control and maintain the desired temperature at each point in the system. It features an integrated thermostat that can be easily adjusted with a slotted screwdriver, and a by-pass mechanism for thermal disinfection against Legionella. The valve can be installed in the return line of each zone, is no-lead and NSF/ANSI 61 certified, and made of corrosion-resistant brass. It also comes with optional accessories like temperature gauge and/or binder points. The valve can be adjusted without needing to remove it from the system and it has a replaceable balancing mechanism. The bypass mechanism permits thermal disinfection with high water temperatures to kill bacteria and viruses, especially Legionella bacteria and other waterborne pathogens that can be found in engineered water systems.
Based on NSF/ANSI 61-2008 Annex G in compliance with Section 116875 of the California Health & Safety Code.
All Cimberio valves qualify for the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and the Buy American Act.
